Khaila Carr draws artistic inspiration from a vibrant blend of color, psychedelia, greenery, and glitter. Her creations are a reflection of fantastical aesthetics, cathartic expression, and exploration of identity as a Queer, Filipino-American woman. Embracing the power of autobiographical art, Khaila uses her own experiences to engage in introspection and build connections with individuals alike.

In 2018, her dedication to art led her to earn a BFA in Illustration and Fine Arts from the Columbus College of Art and Design.

Presently, Khaila is passionately working on building tattoo experience. Her goal is to evolve into a skilled body artist, she intends to learn from a mix of traditional American tattooing and the rich history of Kalinga body modification.

Beyond her artistic pursuits, Khaila actively contributes to the artistic community as the Grants & Community Engagement Coordinator for the Greater Columbus Arts Council.
